As a sign of the plethora of thoroughly excellent acts appearing on the line-up at this week's SPOT Festival, we decided that there was nothing we could do but go for a couple of Featured Artists rather than the usual one favoured act. And we have come up with two crackers for you to take a look at.
We've been fans and followers of I Got You On Tape for a couple of years already and included their latest album, Church Of The Real, regularly on our list of recommendations. We've seen the band live on several occasions in Scandinavia, Germany and during SXSW this year and they always, always deliver so we have no problem at all making sure we catch them again in Århus this weekend. Schultz&Forever is more of a new discovery for The NMO, having come across the debut EP, Odd Stories, during the lead-up to this year's festival. Schultz&Forever is essentially 17-year old Jonathan Schultz and a group of friends who join in onstage and we're super excited to see how it works out in a live environment. You can check out more about SPOT Festival and follow The NMO's adventures on Facebook and Twitter over the weekend......

SPOT Festival is an annual music festival in the city of Århus, Denmark, showcasing up-and-coming Danish and Scandinavian talent. Around one hundred artists and bands from most genres of contemporary popular music - such as rock, hip hop, electronic music - play various stages in and around the Århus theatre and music venue, Musikhuset.
The event has built a reputation of being instrumental in helping launch the international careers of Scandinavian acts such as Kashmir, Sigur Rós, Outlandish, The Raveonettes, Junior Senior, Kaizer's Orchestra, Múm, Mew, Oh No Ono, Spleen United, Shout Out Louds, and Kellermensch for example.
